Super Storm Sandy Rebuild

Because of the Owner’s deep emotional attachment to their home, one of the oldest in Mantoloking, New Jersey, Aquatecture Associates, Inc. worked closely with builders Jim Brenna and Dennis Wynn  to save this classic dwelling after it was devastated in Superstorm Sandy.
Half buried under sand and water, the home was righted, lifted, and relocated to the north side of the property so that a new wood pile foundation could be installed, and the structure was then moved back to its original location, where it will safely reside  for another 100 years.
