Interior Views of Jake's Crab House - Now Open!

       For those of you who may not be familiar with Jenkinson's Boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach, Jake's Crab House now occupies the location of the former Ice Cream & Candy Shop next to Martell's Tiki Bar. All the over head trusses are structural but work to recreate the look of Crab Houses found in the Southern US.

Its hard to believe that these 4 photos are all of the same house!

Architect Gregory Cox designed all the interior and exterior renovations of this home to transform it into a classic shore residence.

Architectural details that have been incorporated into the design are the front balcony, metal roof, cedar shingle siding and dramatic revisions to the roof-line.

All changes made to this residence were able to be made with no town approvals beyond building permits.
