100 Years of History

Aquatecture Associates, Inc., Architects & Planners, is proud to announce the 100-year anniversary of their building and its service to the community of Point Pleasant Beach.

Completed in 1915, it served as the fire house for Ocean Fire Company No.1, which was founded in 1885 (both dates are still visible on the facade).

Purchased by Aquatecture Associates, Inc. in 1998, the building exterior was completely restored to its original historic context and the building now serves as the home of Aquatecture Associates, Inc., Architects & Planners, as well as the Ocean Star Newspaper.

Winning several awards for adaptive reuse and furthering cultural heritage, the building is a reminder of Aquatecture Associates, Inc. commitment to keeping history alive in Point Pleasant Beach.

Aquatecture Associates Inc., Architects and Planners, introduces “The Beachhouse” prototype, an economical solution to elegant seashore living.

In a compact footprint ,comprising 2200 square feet of open plan living space, “The Beachhouse” provides a ground level foyer, parking and ample storage.

Two levels of living contain such desirable amenities as 4 bedrooms and three baths. A flex space on the first floor can be a den, office, or first floor bedroom. A large elevated first floor deck contains an outdoor shower making returning from the beach, boat, or pool a snap.

The Master Bedroom has a large walk in closet and optional balcony. The Master Bath has double vanities, and a two person shower.

“The Beachhouse” has been designed to exceed today’s rigid building requirements for construction in flood and hurricane zones.

Plans are available for purchase and ready for building permits, and can be customized by our team of Architects and Designers.
